Overview
The Line Crossing analytics works with any camera that's connected to a Pure Cloud Storage gateway appliance in the Arcules platform. This tool lets you draw a virtual line on the camera feed and detect when objects cross it in a specified direction. When an object crosses the line, the system can trigger various automated responses through the Arcules Rules engine, including:
Recording video footage.
Generating alarm alerts.
Sending notifications to specified users.
Note: Cloud-based video analytics are currently not available for cameras connected to an Edge Storage gateway.
Configuration
1. Access the Arcules Web Portal.
2. Select the Devices menu on the left panel. Then select the Video section:
3. Select the corresponding Camera:
4. A menu will appear on the right section.
