How to access your gateway when the internet is down

Updated over 3 years ago

Arcules has a feature where if under certain circumstances, the Internet connection is down, then you can still access the offline emergency viewing on your local Gateway. You will need the device token to proceed.

How to Retrieve your Device Token to access the Gateway Offline

  • Go to the Sites page and find the Gateway

  • Click on the Gateway to bring up the right drawer

  • Select the Offline Access tab

  • Click on Retrieve your Device Token

  • Copy or write down the Current Token value, it will be needed in a following step.

How do I access my gateway locally

  • Contact your local network administrator to obtain the gateway's IP address. You also might be able to view the IP address through the Sites page. It will have a format similar to YYY.YYY.YYY.YYY

  • You will need to access the IP address provided by the Network Administrator through Port 9000. So if your IP address was YYY.YYY.YYY.YYY, then in the browser enter YYY.YYY.YYY.YYY :9000

  • You will be prompted to enter the token. Enter it and click to proceed.

  • Click on Login

  • Here, you will able to access the Live View as well as view available recorded footage locally on your Gateway.
