Introduction to Camera to Cloud (C2C)

Updated this week

What is Camera to Cloud?

Camera to Cloud (C2C) is a cloud‑first video deployment model where supported cameras connect directly to the cloud without requiring an on‑site gateway or NVR. Video is recorded at the edge (on the camera) and securely sent to the cloud, where it is made available through the Arcules platform for live viewing, investigation, and device management.

This architecture is designed to simplify deployment, reduce on‑premises hardware, and enable scalable video security across single or multi‑site environments.

Camera to Cloud currently supports the following camera vendors:

Axis Communications

Camera to Cloud supports a growing range of Axis cameras. These cameras connect directly to the cloud and leverage on‑camera capabilities such as edge storage and Axis Object Analytics.

i‑PRO

Camera to Cloud also supports selected i‑PRO cameras. These devices are designed for direct‑to‑cloud connectivity and edge‑based recording.
